European Parliament resolution on human rights in Bangladesh, notably Odhikar

The adopted text calls on Bangladeshi authorities to end the use of excessive force and arbitrary arrests, create a safe environment for human rights defenders, rescind Odhikar’s deregistration and drop charges against its officials, and to ensure that digital legislation complies with international human rights law while urging EU bodies to systematically raise these concerns and link Bangladesh’s Everything But Arms arrangement to human rights improvements.
