Parliament Consents to Digital Trade Agreement with Singapore
Decision
The European Parliament consented to the conclusion of the Agreement on Digital Trade between the European Union and the Republic of Singapore and approved the draft Council decision as recorded in adopted text P10_TA(2025)0266. The consent was given in plenary on 13 November 2025 under procedure 2025/0009(NLE) and the report before the vote was A10-0187/2025.

Parliament’s consent constitutes its formal approval for the conclusion of the digital trade agreement and is reflected among the texts adopted at that sitting, including P10_TA(2025)0266 and P10_TA(2025)0267. The committee recommendation on the draft Council decision was prepared by the Committee on International Trade and specified that a majority of the votes cast was required.
