EU adopts temporary trade-liberalisation for Moldovan products

The European Parliament approved the Commission proposal on temporary trade‑liberalisation measures by single vote as plenary text P9_TA(2024)0155, with the vote recorded in the Strasbourg sitting of 13 March 2024; Parliament’s first reading was thereby closed. What Changes

The adopted text implements a regulation introducing temporary trade‑liberalisation measures supplementing the trade concessions applicable to products from the Republic of Moldova under the Association Agreement, as set out in the Commission proposal COM(2024)0051.
