What Changes

The resolution strongly condemns the National Security Law (NSL) and the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance (SNSO), demands the immediate and unconditional release of Jimmy Lai and the 45 recently convicted activists and urges repeal of the NSL and SNSO; it also calls on the Council to review its 2020 Conclusions on Hong Kong and to adopt sanctions under the EU Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime.
