Amending Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 as regards obligations of economic operators concerning battery due diligence policies

The European Parliament in Strasbourg on 10 July 2025 adopted the report on the proposal COM(2025)0258 (C10-0089/2025, procedure 2025/0129(COD)) as set out in A10-0134/2025 and approved the Commission proposal together with Parliament’s amendments by adopting the plenary text P10_TA(2025)0164. The report was tabled by the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety, with Antonio Decaro as rapporteur, and the vote required a majority of the votes cast.
