6th EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly meets in London

Context

The sixth EU‑UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly took place in London on 17–18 November 2025 and focused on parliamentary exchange within the EU‑UK relationship. Members reviewed the state of play within the Partnership Council, including progress since the May UK‑EU Summit 2025.

Delegates discussed security and foreign policy cooperation to promote peace and stability, explicitly addressing the Security Action for Europe (SAFE) fund, alongside creative and cultural exchange and cooperation on artificial intelligence, data and digital matters. The meeting also covered trade, security and global challenges as reflected in a formal recommendation prepared for the assembly.
