90th EU‑US Transatlantic Legislators’ Dialogue held in Warsaw
Context
Eleven Members of the European Parliament, led by MEP Brando Benifei (S&D), Chair of the Delegation for relations with the United States, and seven Members of the US House of Representatives, led by Representative Nathaniel Moran (Republican, Texas), met in Warsaw on 14–15 June 2025. Guest speakers from the Polish government, academia and business also took part in the topical discussions.
Key Topic
Participants discussed EU‑US trade and economic relations, cooperation in defence and security including energy security, and issues related to artificial intelligence and the digital revolution, while underlining the importance and mutual benefits of the transatlantic partnership.
What to Watch
At the close of the meeting the TLD Co‑Chairs MEP Benifei and Rep. Moran, together with US TLD Ranking Member Rep. Jim Costa, signed a Joint Statement outlining conclusions and reaffirming the commitment to further strengthen the transatlantic bond.
