Parliament gives consent to EU–New Zealand free trade agreement

Decision

The European Parliament adopted a legislative resolution (P9_TA(2023)0417) on 22 November 2023 giving its consent to the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and New Zealand, on the basis of the draft Council decision and the draft Agreement and the Committee on International Trade recommendation (A9-0305/2023).

What Changes

Any concrete legal or market changes will depend on the Agreement's provisions and subsequent implementation steps.
