Temporary measures for Ukrainian driver documents
Decision
The Parliament approved the Commission proposal and its amendment (COM(2022)0313, C9-0201/2022, 2022/0204(COD)) as recorded in the adopted text P9_TA(2022)0294, closing Parliament’s first reading; the item was handled in plenary in Strasbourg and originates from the TRAN Committee.
What Changes
The adopted text lays down specific and temporary measures concerning driver documents issued by Ukraine in accordance with its legislation, as a response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The measures apply to driver documents issued by Ukraine and therefore to holders of those Ukrainian-issued driver documents.
