Partnership Agreement: Parliament consents to conclusion with Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States
Decision
The Parliament adopted a recommendation on the proposal for a Council decision and approved the draft Council decision [P9_TA(2024)0206] on the conclusion, on behalf of the European Union, of the Partnership Agreement with the Members of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States. The outcome was recorded as approved at the plenary sitting on 10 April 2024 with the result described as a majority of the votes cast.

Parliament’s consent formally records its approval of the draft Council decision to conclude the Partnership Agreement, as set out in document A9-0147/2024 and reflected in P9_TA(2024)0206. This decision completes the Parliament’s recorded position in the procedure 2023/0464(NLE).
