Parliament consents to amendment of EU–Norway VAT cooperation agreement

What Changes
Parliament's consent allows the Union to conclude the amendment to the Agreement between the European Union and the Kingdom of Norway on administrative cooperation, combating fraud and recovery of claims in the field of value added tax, as set out in COM(2023)0736. The text follows the Commission proposal COM(2023)0736 that seeks to amend administrative cooperation and recovery arrangements in VAT.
