New Regulation on Construction Products
Decision
Parliament adopted the report (A9-0207/2023) prepared by the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection with Christian Doleschal as rapporteur, approving the Commission proposal and amendments and recording the adopted text P9_TA(2023)0253 by a majority of the votes cast; a request for referral back to the committee was also approved after the vote. The procedure reference for the file is 2022/0094(COD).
What Changes
The adopted text lays down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and changes the EU legal framework by amending Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 and repealing Regulation (EU) 305/2011.
