Mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund: Application EGF/2025/000 TA 2025 - Technical assistance at the initiative of the Commission
Decision
The European Parliament adopted resolution P10_TA(2025)0153 on 9 July 2025, agreeing to the mobilisation of EUR 170 000 for technical assistance at the initiative of the Commission, approving the decision annexed to the resolution and instructing its President to sign the decision with the President of the Council and arrange its publication in the Official Journal.
What Changes
The authorised EUR 170 000, corresponding to approximately 0.49% of the EGF maximum annual budget in 2025, may finance technical and administrative expenditure for EGF implementation including preparatory, monitoring, control, audit and evaluation activities, data gathering and IT, communication and visibility measures, and the continued work on standardised procedures using the Shared Fund Management Common System (SFC). The Commission will use administrative support funds for meetings of the Expert Group of Contact Persons and one seminar and will maintain and update the dedicated EGF website.
Who Is Affected
The measures concern applicant Member States and displaced workers eligible for EGF support, and involve the Commission, EGF implementing bodies, social partners and the Expert Group of Contact Persons.
