Implementing measures under Rule 115 forwarded to Parliament
EP Position
The minutes record that draft implementing measures falling under the regulatory procedure with scrutiny were forwarded to Parliament and referred to the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI). Two of the proposals also attracted formal opinions from the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) and the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI).
Key Trade Point
The package includes a Commission Regulation laying down labelling requirements for plant protection products and repealing Regulation (EU) No 547/2011, a regulation amending maximum residue levels for copper compounds in or on certain products, a regulation adding twelve co-formulants that are not accepted for inclusion in plant protection products, and a correction to the Estonian language version of the plastics-in-contact-with-food regulation.
