EU-Singapore Digital Trade Agreement: Parliament gives consent
Decision
The European Parliament adopted a legislative resolution of 13 November 2025 giving its consent to the conclusion of the Agreement on Digital Trade between the European Union and the Republic of Singapore, as set out in document P10_TA(2025)0266 and related references including A10-0187/2025. It instructed its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of the Republic of Singapore.
What Changes
Parliament’s consent enables the EU to conclude the Agreement on Digital Trade as presented in the draft Council decision (05853/2025) and the Agreement text (05854/2025). The resolution follows the recommendation of the Committee on International Trade and Parliament’s non-legislative resolution of 13 November 2025.
