EP adopts position on CAP amendments covering conditionality and controls
EP Position
The European Parliament adopted its position at first reading, endorsing amendments to Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 and to Regulation (EU) 2021/2116 that address the CAP conditionality system, types of intervention in the form of direct payment, interventions in certain sectors and rural development, annual performance reports, data and interoperability governance, suspensions of payments, annual performance clearance, controls and penalties.
