DMER delegation visits Uruguay and Paraguay (27–29 Oct 2025)
Context
The mission took place in Uruguay and Paraguay and involved meetings with the EU Delegation in Montevideo, EU Member State representatives, national authorities and civil society organisations.
Key Topic
In Uruguay the delegation met the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of the Presidency, the Senate and European companies active in the country. In Paraguay the programme included meetings with the National Congress, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, a meeting with the President and a field visit to the National Electricity Administration (ANDE).
