EU‑Mercosur agricultural safeguard: provisional agreement adopted
Decision
The Parliament adopted the provisional agreement recorded as P10_TA(2026)0030 on the proposal to implement a safeguard mechanism for agricultural trade, and its first reading was closed; the Commission statement was approved. An earlier vote on 16 December 2025 had been referred back to the responsible committee and the request to vote on the amendments was rejected.
